How to Read Medicine Expiry Date?
Most medicines show expiry as MM/YYYY (e.g., 06/2026). A medicine is valid through the last day of the expiry month. So "06/2026" means valid until June 30, 2026.
What is Shelf Life?
Shelf life is the period during which a medicine remains safe and effective when stored properly. In India, most tablet and capsule formulations have a shelf life of 24–36 months from manufacturing date.
